Seeking a Full-Time Special Education Teacher for Elementary Grades 3-5 - Travel Assignment in Burlington, IL

This travel position offers an opportunity to work full-time from ASAP through the end of the school year, supporting students in grades 3rd through 5th within a special education setting. The position is based in Burlington, IL, and will primarily focus on managing a caseload of approximately 15 students requiring individualized special education services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in grades 3-5 with disabilities, addressing their academic and behavioral needs.
• Deliver a combination of push-in support within the general education classroom and pull-out small group instruction.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent progress and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary students, preferably within grades 3 to 5.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of approximately 15 students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to deliver both push-in and pull-out instructional support.

Location and Schedule:

• This is a travel opportunity located in Burlington, Illinois.
• Full-time schedule from ASAP through the end of the current school year.
