The Staff Accountant will play a key part in the company's financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in managing cash flow.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist in financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the efficiency of financial operations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting (CPA Preferred).
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (ERP platforms).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in financial matters.
