Overview Prime Physicians is a leading healthcare staffing and consulting company serving facilities across federal agencies (HHS, IHS, VA, DHA). We are seeking a Senior Physician Recruiter with expertise in locum tenens and permanent placements. This is a remote role with flexible work arrangements. Responsibilities Source and recruit physicians and APPs for locum tenens and permanent positions through various channels. Manage end-to-end recruitment from initial contact to contract negotiation and placement. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities for future placements. Collaborate with internal teams to match qualified candidates with client needs. Maintain database of candidates and track recruitment metrics. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of physician recruitment experience, with success in locum and permanent placements. Experience working for healthcare staffing companies (not hospital/health system recruiters). Must have placed at least 200 physicians in total; average of 25 per year. Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and facility needs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet placement targets. Highly organized with attention to detail. U.S. Citizenship. Compensation Average base salary with performance-based compensation. Contingency or bonus payments tied to successful placements and/or gross margin. Why Join Us?
