About the Role Our Pest Technicians serve in a key front‑line role and are the very heart of what we do. Equipped with a company vehicle and excellent industry training, Pest Techs visit residential customers, perform pest control treatments, and offer additional products and services on their routes. Responsibilities Applying pesticides to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Responding in a timely manner to customers’ requests for telephone and in‑person service calls and calling customers to confirm scheduled services. Identifying and acting upon opportunities to sell additional Terminix products or services. Qualifications High school graduate or GED and a valid driver’s license. Personable and enjoys interacting with customers. Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic. Effective communication skills to present information to customers one‑on‑one and in small groups. Detail‑oriented and understands the importance of safety. Basic math aptitude necessary for calculations related to sales and service. Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Requirements and Restrictions For safety reasons, Pest Techs must not have facial hair that would interfere with rebreather sealing.
