Overview Possesses knowledge and ability to provide continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, including measurement of P‑R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations. Demonstrates troubleshooting skills to recognize monitoring problems, identify probable causes, and pursue solutions to correct the issue. Responsibilities Provides continuous ECG monitoring and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms. Recognizes and resolves monitoring problems. Maintains inventories, supplies, hardware, and telemetry transmitters. Reports malfunctions promptly. Qualifications Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience: No experience required; 1 year as a monitor technician (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications: Successful completion of PHC telemetry monitoring competency assessment within 30 days Required; Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT) Preferred; Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) Preferred Location Piedmont Cartersville #J-18808-Ljbffr
