Position Overview The Medical Information Specialist works within Medical Communications to provide reliable product information, manage adverse event reports and support medical writing activities. The role is home‑office based and supports clients across the European Union and UK. Location and Eligibility Eligible to work legally in the European Union or the United Kingdom. Preferred countries: Poland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Spain. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Triage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients. Disseminate drug information verbally or in written correspondence. Identify adverse events and product complaints; perform intake to generate initial reports in compliance with EVERSANA‑Medical Communications and client SOPs. Coordinate quality‑related complaints with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and complainant personnel. Critically evaluate medical literature and provide written summaries for healthcare professionals. Support medical writing activities and prepare adverse event narratives. Participate in miscellaneous projects such as market research, system development, sales training and field liaison support. Serve on‑call duties as assigned. Carry out any other duties as assigned. EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB Maintain and improve customer service quality for the Medical Communications Call Centre. Work from home or a European hub office. Hours: 8:00‑18:00 CET, Monday‑Friday; may be asked to work on bank holidays (day off in lieu). Contribute to process improvement and metrics for the Call Centre; metrics may change annually. Travel: up to 10% of time. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education: Life Sciences or healthcare degree (or equivalent). Experience: Strong clinical background with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Languages: English C1 level (obligatory); native German required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Pharma D / M Pharma, MSc in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Science, Human Science. Experience: Call Centre, Medical Information, pharmaceutical industry, clinical experience including medical writing. Technical: Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other Windows applications; familiarity with Medical Information Management Systems and Safety Databases.
