Medical Information Specialist Glen Burnie, MD Full Time | 100% On Site Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Join the Team at Pivotal Health Pivotal Health is looking for a detail oriented and driven Missing Information Specialist to join our growing healthcare operations team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced healthcare environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in ensuring patient records and insurance information are accurate and complete. As a Missing Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting patient care operations by working directly with providers, patients, and medical documentation to resolve missing or incomplete information quickly and efficiently. What You Will Do Contact providers by phone and fax to obtain missing medical records, diagnosis codes, and required documentation Review and analyze medical records for completeness and accuracy Verify and obtain insurance information from providers and patients Understand and work with diagnosis codes and contraindications Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding items Communicate professionally with providers, patients, and internal teams Support operational efficiency by ensuring records are processed in a timely manner What We Are Looking For Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field Understanding of medical terminology and medical records Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player High school diploma or equivalent required Why Join Pivotal Health?
