During the 3–4 month internship, you will work closely with our Lead IT Engineer to learn our systems, tools, and workflows. You will begin by supporting internal IT operations and gradually take on more responsibility, including exposure to software development projects - primarily within our Salesforce or Node.js/React and AI assisted development.

This role is ideal for someone interested in a long-term career that blends IT systems support and application development.

  • Provide backup IT coverage when the Lead IT Engineer is unavailable
  • Assist with IT security and compliance-related tasks

  • Gain exposure to and assist with software development projects (primarily Salesforce-based applications)
What You’ll Learn:
  • Corporate IT operations and prioritization in a consulting environment
  • Identity and authentication systems
  • macOS and Windows administration
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools
  • Active Directory and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Security best practices and compliance fundamentals

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic familiarity with macOS or Windows operating systems
  • Ability to work on-site in our West Loop office (with potential for hybrid transition)
  • Interest in transitioning to a full-time role after the internship
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across IT support and development tasks

Nice to Have:

  • Experience troubleshooting macOS or Windows systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, AWS, or identity/authentication systems
  • Coursework or hands-on experience in software development
  • Exposure to object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
  • Experience with front-end and/or back-end application development
Employee Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is hourly for the internship period. This will move to salaried at the beginning for full-time employment.

Benefits include:

  • Parental leave benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Remote work equipment and services stipend
  • Generous 401(k) employer match
  • Employee stock ownership
