  • Partner with the Public Relations Manager and Senior VP on earned media strategy, including press releases and rapid response.
  • Support development and fundraising communications-including donor engagement, Double Your Donation Day, newsletters, direct mail, and website content.
  • Build and maintain a robust customer and volunteer story library and lead storytelling initiatives to elevate customer voices.
  • Develop crisis communications materials and support staff training.
  • Write scripts and talking points for key leaders for public appearances, videos, and campaigns.
  • Represent MOFC at community events, media opportunities, and speaking engagements.
  • Establish and track communications metrics to measure impact and continuously improve practices.
  • Contribute to organizational belonging and culture initiatives in partnership with MOFC's BEAT Council.

  • Experience navigating local media landscapes and prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and collaboration tools.

Skills & Competencies

  • Creative problem-solver who delivers fresh, effective communication ideas.
  • Skilled project planner with the ability to manage multi-month campaigns and varied content needs.
  • Expertise in writing, editing, proofreading, and content development.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent relationship-building abilities.
