Bindery Operator

Jeffersonville, IN $16.00 per hour Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Job Overview: The Job Center is hiring Bindery Operators for a production facility in Jeffersonville, IN. This role supports bindery and finishing operations within a printing environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

Pay: $16.00 per hour Weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret job orders to determine required bindery operations and specifications
• Set up and operate entry-level bindery equipment including drill punch, folder, collators, off-line numbering machines, paper cutter, padding press, and poly wrapper
• Perform continuous quality checks throughout production operations
• Review quality checklists from previous departments prior to running orders
• Insert completed products into boxes for shipment
• Use various methods and equipment for counting, spooning, padding, and related tasks
• Perform kitting or fulfillment functions by assembling materials according to customer specifications
• Perform basic shipping and receiving duties
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Stand for extended periods during shift

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, printing, or bindery experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to stand and lift throughout shift

Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• 2nd Shift
• Overtime may be required
