Location: Montpelier, OH

Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Here's what it takes to succeed with us. Requirements.

• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology (preferred)
• 3-5+ years of automation or robotics experience
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and robotic systems (Fanuc, Yaskawa)
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with pneumatics, EOAT design, and mechanical repair preferred
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 75 lbs), and perform physical tasks throughout shift
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift schedules as needed
• Must follow PPE and safety standards in a manufacturing setting

Job Duties

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems, PLCs, controllers, EOAT tooling, and vision/camera systems
• Support new automation projects, including system setup, testing, documentation, and production handoff
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform repairs and preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve system performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Develop and revise automation programs and work instructions
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and build control systems
• Use test equipment (multimeters, etc.) to validate system performance
• Maintain fixtures, tooling, and secondary automation equipment (e.g., poke-yokes)
• Ensure safety compliance and document all testing and procedures
